From reporting naughty children to Ariana Grande to promising a juicy steak to those who keep things tidy, parents have had to get creative with their words of warning to keep kids from making a mess amid the pandemic.

Parents were asked how they’re getting their children to stop causing a cluttered catastrophe during the pandemic, and they’ve tried everything from “I will report [you] to Ariana Grande” to “I promised to treat them to a juicy steak.”

The average American woman says the number of household responsibilities she takes care of has nearly doubled since this time last year, according to new research.

A new study of 2,000 American women revealed that while women had an average of seven household duties to take care of this time last year, the average respondent says her workload in this regard has nearly doubled — reporting that she’s taken on six new responsibilities in the interim.

The average American couple has six conversations each month while one of them is on the toilet, according to new research.

A new survey of 2,000 Americans, living with a partner since at least the start of quarantine, also probed the other toilet taboos that partners have broken during this time.

While 64% of respondents reported that moving in with their partner broke down many of the “bathroom boundaries” they’d had prior to cohabitating, the extra time spent at home together during lockdown may have all but eliminated them.

Whether you like your peanut butter creamy or crunchy may say more about you than you think, according to new research.

The study examined the peanut butter preferences of 2,000 Americans — evenly split by their preference of crunchy versus creamy — and found enjoying a crunchy peanut butter may mean you have a cheerier outlook on life.

Sixty-three percent of those who prefer crunchy peanut butter describe themselves as optimists, compared to 56% of those who prefer creamy.

The survey of 2,000 Americans determined that 88% of those polled have found a new appreciation of the simpler things in life over the past 12 months.

The average American will drive around for nine days with a warning light on before taking their vehicle in for servicing, according to new research.

The survey of 2,000 American drivers found that’s not the only questionable thing they’re doing when it comes to their vehicles — the average respondent drives 7,460 miles before changing their oil.

That’s more than 2,000 miles above the typically recommended distance of 5,000 miles.
